John Fuhrman wrote the script for A Bit Of Bad Luck and makes his directorial debut with the film as well. Fuhrman was raised in Tacoma, Washington and has practiced law in the area for over twenty years. John is also a former officer in the Washington Army National Guard and served in Baghdad, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.
Gerrarda was born in County Roscommon, Ireland. She moved to Seattle over twenty years to attend graduate school at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. A lifelong independent film lover, A Bit Of Bad Luck is her first film. In addition to producing the film, she assisted her husband, John Fuhrman, in writing the screenplay. She and John reside in downtown Seattle with their four-year-old son, Rory.
Mr. Lineweaver is one of Hollywood’s most accomplished production designers. His career spans over thirty years and has included such well known films as Ted, Jerry Maguire, City Slickers II and Ace Ventura: When nature Calls. In addition to serving as a producer, Mr. Lineweaver was also the Production Designer for A Bit Of Bad Luck. Stephen has worked with some of the greatest directors of our time.
Jory Weitz is a veteran Hollywood casting director and producer. He is perhaps best known as the executive producer for the wildly successful indie film, Napoleon Dynamite. He has casted such films as Dances with Wolves, Honey I shrunk the Kids and Edward Scissorhands.
In addition to producing A Bit Of Bad Luck, Mr. Weitz was also responsible for casting the main roles of the film.
Polina is well-known in Seattle as a successful interior designer and for her involvement in the world of fashion. Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, Polina hadpreviously served as the Art Director to the short film, A New Yorker @Paris. In addition to her role as a producer in A Bit Of Bad Luck, she also supervised the wardrobe and costume designs.
Matthew Irving has been the director of photography on numerous award-winning feature films. A native of New Jersey, Matt spent much of his childhood shooting films with his Super 8mm camera. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and an MFA from the University of Southern California. Matt was named one of the “25 New Faces of independent Film” by Filmmaker Magazine.
For the past three years, Mr. Buckley has been the Composer for the popular CBS television series, The Good Wife. David is a British film composer working in LA. He has worked with many of the leading filmmakers of the day including Ridley and Tony Scott, Ben Affleck, Joel Schumacher, Rob Minkoff, Luc Besson, Pierre Morel and Taylor Hackford. David was recently honored as a BRIT TO WATCH by BAFTA and has been the recipient of 4 BMI AWARDS.
